The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

  • Develop deep understanding and critical needs of the Canadian Surgical market segments (including Surgery Centers) and its customers. This includes surgeon, OR Manager, OR buyers, OR Nurses, Anesthesiologists, Anesthesia Technicians, and other OR supporting roles.
  • The Surgical Portfolio in Canada comprises of the following product groups: Activation Marketer (New Health Care Company) Activation Marketer (New Health Care Company)
  • Incision Management
  • Temperature Management/ Patient Warming
  • Patient Preparation
  • Actively contributes to the development and execution of all elements of the Marketing Plan.
  • Lead activation of USAC marketing campaigns in the Surgical Portfolio while managing the local marketing calendar. Activation Marketer (New Health Care Company)
  • Performs complex analysis on market, customer, competitor trends and suggests shifts in campaigns based on tracking marketing plan metrics.
  • Use data analytics and market insights to prioritize marketing activities while aligning with USAC marketing plans. Activation Marketer (New Health Care Company)
  • Coordinate with internal (Canada and US) and external teams in the development and execution of integrated brand and/or product marketing campaigns, promotion activities, digital marketing, and pricing promotions.
  • Localize content for the Surgical Solutions sales team and provide input to the content creation and digital conversion. Activation Marketer (New Health Care Company)
  • Provide insights to USAC leadership on Canadian customers, buying organizations, tender and RFP process, market needs, competition, reimbursement in Canada and social media nuances. Activation Marketer (New Health Care Company)
  • Analyze and develop pricing strategies based on customer and market insights. Manage internal and external communication regarding product, business, and market information. Activation Marketer (New Health Care Company)
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Marketing team to develop demand plans and inventory management.
  • Work collaboratively with respective Portfolio Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Marcomm, Campaign Marketing, Medical Education, Sales Team, Clinical Specialists, Medical Liaison, Distribution Leads, Contracts and Application Engineers to execute new product launches in Canada for optimal commercialization and market impact.

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
  • Seven 7 years of experience in Business to Business (B2B) Marketing in a private, public, government or military environment Activation Marketer (New Health Care Company) Activation Marketer (New Health Care Company)

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Digital Marketing experience
  • Knowledge and experience with the theories and practices of one or more disciplines such as digital, business/market development, branding, Medical Education, standard pricing and maintenance, deviated pricing, bids and quotes, business agreements, price optimization and analytics, sales processes, customer insights, etc.
  • Experience working in the Canadian Health Care system.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, and willingness to learn SAP, PowerBI, Tableau, and Salesforce Activation Marketer (New Health Care Company)
