Canadian National Railway Company (CN) is looking for a highly motivated person to fulfill a full-time (40h/week) Intern, Investor Relations position in Montreal, QC from January – April 2024.

Job Summary

The Intern, Investor Relations is responsible for providing support to the Investor Relations (IR) department. The incumbent assists in creating, implementing, and maintaining a marketing program that effectively communicates the CN story to the Investment community.

Major Responsibilities

  • Perform industry-wide benchmarking survey of IR materials, including webpages, IR-decks, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) material
  • Validate data accuracy in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, including shareholder meeting dates, investor meetings, and meeting summaries
  • Develop reports and analyses that examine the relationship between investor meetings and share ownership
  • Assist the Senior Manager in preparing and delivering the Quarterly Earnings Call and virtual investor conferences
  • Perform ad hoc analysis as directed by the Vice-President and Senior Manager

Requirements

  • Fluently bilingual both written and verbal (English, French)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Ability to learn new software
  • Knowledge of the stock market*

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance or Economics*

*Any experience/education/skills/knowledge for these above would be considered as an asset
