Manager, CE Strategies and Support Teams
$86,200.00 – $122,100.01 annually

The Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship is accountable for integrated water, land and natural resource management and advancing reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples. Building on integrated water, land and resource management efforts, the Ministry is building a new vision in collaboration with natural resource ministries and First Nations to embrace shared decision-making. This includes providing information and analysis to support timely, evidence-informed policy and decision-making and provides a pathway to balancing the goals of economic activity, environmental sustainability and advancing Indigenous reconciliation.

The Manager, CE Strategies and Support Teams focuses on developing creative management solutions to strategic resource management issues. The position bridges environmental, social and economic disciplines of natural resource management to advance the transformation of cumulative effects (CE) and cumulative impacts management from a systems perspective, the business programs and processes, systems, tools and guidance that underpin how the natural resource sector operates.

  • Degree in business administration, public administration, natural resource management field, related field or equivalent.
  • Experience at a senior level leading (i.e., planning and implementing) major projects of large scale and complexity that have multiple project delivery components, which include organizational change.
  • Experience establishing collaborative relationships with executives and leading organizational change associated with implementation.
  • Experience leading and coaching multi-disciplinary senior level professionals and/or managers in the development and implementation of complex projects.
  • Experience in business planning, contract management, financial management, and negotiations.
